At least four explosions rock temple in Bihar's Bodhgaya
At least four explosions were reported from a temple in Bihar's Bodhgaya on Sunday morning, causing minor injuries to two people.
According to TV reports, authorities confirmed that the explosions were local in nature and crude bombs had been used for the blasts.
Further, due to the timing of the blasts only minimal damage has been caused. No structural damage has been reported from the temple.
Mahabodhi is the one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage centres in Bihar and is also the state's most important tourist spot.
According to reports, Bodhgaya is a high priority area throughout the year and thus, there is always an adequate amount of security cover there.
Pilgrims are thoroughly checked before they enter the temple's premises.
Local administration is on the spot of the blast and is trying to investigate the cause
