ကမၻာေပၚတြင္ အၾကမ္းဖက္မႈမ်ားႏွင့္ ပဋိပကၡမ်ား လႊမ္းမိုးမ်ားျပားသထက္မ်ားျပားလာသည္ႏွင့္အမွ်.....
အာရပ္ေႏြဦး ေတာ္လွန္ေရး၏ ေနာက္ဆက္တြဲအက်ိဳးဆက္မ်ားအျဖစ္ အၾကမ္းဖက္ဆႏၵျပမႈမ်ားႏွင့္ ၎တို႔အေပၚ ရက္ရက္စက္စက္ႏွိမ္နင္းမႈမ်ား ထပ္ေပါင္းလိုက္ေသာအခါ.....ကမၻာ့ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရးသည္ 2013 တြင္ က်ဆင္းသြားရသည္မွာ အံ့ၾသစရာတစ္ခု မဟုတ္ေတာ့ေခ်။

ခုနစ္ႀကိမ္ေျမာက္ ထုတ္ျပန္လိုက္ေသာ ကမၻာလံုးဆိုင္ရာ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းမႈအညႊန္း Global Peace Index (GPI) အရ ကမၻာ့ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရးသည္ လြန္ခဲ့ေသာ ေျခာက္ႏွစ္ကထက္ 6% ပိုမိုဆိုးရြားသြားေၾကာင္း ျပဆိုေနသည္။

ဆယ္စုႏွစ္ႏွစ္ခုၾကာ ပဋိပကၡျဖစ္ေနခဲ့ၿပီး ႏိုင္ငံေရးမတည္မၿငိမ္ ျဖစ္ေနတဲ့ အာဖဂန္နစၥတန္ ႏိုင္ငံဟာ ဇယား ရဲ့ေအာက္ဆံုး ၁၆၂ ခုေျမာက္မွာ ရပ္တည္ေနပါတယ္။ ဆိုမာလီယာက ၁၆၁ ခုေျမာက္ပါ။ ယခင္က ဆိုမာလီယာ က ေအာက္ဆံုးျဖစ္ၿပီး ယခုမွ အာဖဂန္နစၥတန္ကို ေနရာဖယ္ေပးလိုက္ရတာပါ။

ထင္ရွားလွတာကေတာ့ ကမၻာေပၚမွာ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းမႈ အနည္းဆံုးႏိုင္ငံေတြဟာ မြတ္ဆလင္ႏိုင္ငံေတြ ျဖစ္ေနျခင္းပါ။
အဖဂန္နစၥတန္၊ ဆိုမာလီယာ၊ ဆီးရီးယား၊ အီရတ္၊ ဆူဒန္ ႏွင့္ ပါကစၥတန္တို႔ ဇယားမွာ အစဥ္အတိုင္း ရပ္တည္ေနၾကပါတယ္။

The Least Peaceful Countries in the World are Muslim

With so much of strife and violence dominating our world, and the aftermath of the Arab Spring, its violent protests and repressive regimes adding their bit, it is not surprising that world peacefulness declined in 2013. The seventh edition of the Global Peace Index (GPI) showed 5 per cent deterioration in the world’s peacefulness over a six-year period.

Afghanistan, with its two-decade history of conflict, violence and political instability, was at the bottom most rung of the GPI at 162nd place, displacing Somalia and pushing it up to the 161st position. Significantly, the least peaceful regions are Muslim countries —Afghanistan, Somalia, Syria, Iraq, Sudan and Pakistan.”
